Server Infrastructure & Virtualization
Reliable computing platforms that carry your core banking, policy administration, or member-management systems without interruption.
Book a Technology AssessmentThe business problem
Why this matters
Most application slowdowns and outages are not application problems. They are platform problems: one aging server carrying every workload, no spare capacity, no failover, and no visibility into how close it is to its limit.
The risk of doing nothing
- A single hardware failure stops trading, invoicing, or production.
- Workloads compete for the same memory and disk, so everything feels slow.
- Adding a new system means buying another server instead of using existing capacity.
- Out-of-warranty hardware takes days, not hours, to replace.
Our approach
How the work runs
- 01
Assess
Inventory workloads, utilization, dependencies, and failure points.
- 02
Design
Size a virtual platform with headroom, redundancy, and a clear growth path.
- 03
Migrate
Move workloads in planned windows with tested rollback.
- 04
Verify
Test failover, measure performance, and hand over documentation.
Expected business outcomes
What changes after this work
- Fewer unplanned outages
- Capacity that grows with the business
- Better use of hardware you already own
- Predictable application performance
Frequently asked questions
Questions we are asked first
- Do we have to replace all our hardware?
- Usually not. Consolidation often frees enough capacity to run more workloads on fewer, better-utilized hosts. We only recommend new hardware where the numbers justify it.
- Which hypervisor do you recommend?
- It depends on your licensing position, in-house skills, and workload profile. We support VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox and will recommend based on total cost, not vendor preference.
- Will migration cause downtime?
- Most workloads move with minimal or zero downtime. Where downtime is unavoidable, it is scheduled, communicated, and time-boxed.
